Indian women's team have suffered their second consecutive defeat in the ICC Women's World Twenty20 cricket tournament. At Sylhet in Bangladesh today, they lost to England by five-wickets. Electing to bat, Indian women could only score 95 for nine in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Mithali Raj was the top scorer with a 56-ball 57.England chased down the target with 11 balls to spare by making 98 for five in 18.1 overs. Will two defeats in as many matches, India now face will a difficult chance of qualifying for the semifinals.
