ICC WC: Pakistan defeat South Africa by 29 run as per D/L method

Pakistan defeats South Africa by 29 runs and keep it's quarter finals hope afloat in the Cricket World Cup 2015 being played at Eden Park, Auckland. South Africa went down fighting at 202 in 33.3 overs. After loss of Quinton De Kock's early wicket, Hashim Amla and Faf Du Plessis stabled the South African innings with quickfire 67 runs partnership. But after their fall Pakistani bowlers tightened noose on the batsman. However, skipper AB De Villiers played a fighting innings of 77 but it was not enough as wickets kept tumbling. For Pakistan Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan and Rahat Ali took 3 wickets each.It was a rain-affected game, and was reduced to 47-over-a-side affair. Pakistan posted 222 all out and the total was revised to 232 by Duckworth Lewis method for South Africa.In the other match being played at Hobart, Ireland has posted a total of 331 for 8 in 50 overs against Zimbabwe. In reply Zimbabwe were 94 for 4 in 20 overs, when reports last came in. A hearty 112 from Ed Joyce and 97 runs from Andy Balbirnie enabled the Irish team to post an imposing total.
