Elected to bat first after winning the toss, India made 272 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Shubman Gill scored 102 runs in 94 balls while Prithvi Shaw made 41 and Manjot Kalra contributed 47 runs. For Pakistan Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets. Winner of today's semifinal will meet Australia in the final of the world cup.
