ICC U-19 World Cup: India enter final, beat Sri Lanka by 97 runs

Three-time champions India stormed into the final of the Under-19 World Cup beating Sri Lanka by 97 runs in the first semi-final at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday. Asked to bat first, Indian team posted 267 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs.Anmolpreet Singh made valuable 72 as Sarfaraz Khan also made 59 for India. Anmolpreet Singh later adjudged as man of the match.Chasing a moderate target, the Sri Lankan Under 19 team collapsed at 170 in 42.4 overs as Indian bowlers took wickets at regular intervals.Mayank Dagar and Avesh Khan took three and two wickets respectively.Five time finalists India will take on either West Indies or hosts Bangladesh in the final to be played at Mirpur on Sunday.
