ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup: India set victory target of 222 runs for Eng in first QF match

India has set a victory target of 222 runs for England in the first quarter final match of the ICC under 19 Cricket World Cup in Dubai. India scored 221 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 50 overs. Opting to bat first, India were off to a bad start losing four wickets by the ninth over. But Skipper Vijay Zol along with Deepak Hooda steadied the Indian innings with 87 run partnership for the fifth wicket. Deepak Hooda was the top scorer for India with 68 runs. Sarfaraz Khan chipped in with quickfire 52 runs of 48 deliveries to give India a respectable total. For England, paceman Fisher was the most successful bowler with three wickets.
