ICC U-19 cricket World Cup: India scores 42 runs for loss of 5 wickets in 12 overs against Scotland

Chasing a victory target of 89 runs against Scotland in the ICC Under 19 cricket World Cup in Dubai, India scored 42 runs for the loss of five wickets in 12 overs. Sarfaraz Khan with 14 and Deepak Hooda with five runs are at the crease. A poor batting display frittered away the gains made by superb Indian bowling in the match.Earlier India bowled out Scotland for 88 runs in 29.4 overs. Spinners did the damage. Left arm leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav became the first bowler to strike a hattrick in the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup. In his fifth over Kuldeep had Farrar caught by Hooda , then struck Stirling plumb LBW in front of the wicket on the last two balls. Then on the very first delivery of the sixth over, he bowled Baum to get his first ever hattrick. Except for the opener Andrew Ummeed who scored 44 and GTMain who made 16 runs no player could reach to a double digit. For India, Leggie Kuldeep Yadav and off spinner Abdul Ghani bagged a haul of four wickets each. Pacemen CV Milind and Avesh Khan got a wicket each.
