This was India's fifth victory over Pakistan in as many games at the event and the first against them in Kolkata. Team India had lost its opening game to New Zealand by 47 runs.Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Team India on twitter for the victory.However, Indian eves lost to Pakistan by 2 runs by Duckworth-Louise method at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi.Meanwhile, ICC has suspended Bangladesh bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny for bowling with an illegal action.
