South Africa have won the toss and elected to bat against India in the second semifinal of the World T20 at Mirpur, Bangladesh today. The ICC, in its rankings released on Wednesday, declared that India had replaced Sri Lanka as the top T20 side. Victory over South Africa today will be the perfect way to consolidate the top spot.Rain played spoilsport in the first semi-final of the ICC World Twenty20 2014 yesterday when Sri Lanka beat West Indies by 27 runs to enter the final. The weathermen in Mirpur have forecast another strong thunderstorm this evening. But India, who have been on a roll with four wins on the trot, sit pretty in case of a 'no result' as they would then automatically advance to the final by virtue of finishing higher than South Africa in their respective Super 10 groups.
