The International Cricket Council, ICC Executive Board has raised the prize money in test cricket three fold. The top brass of ICC led by its President Sharad Pawar met in Dubai over the last two days and announced a series of measures to promote cricket.In a boost to test Cricket, the ICC board has hiked the prize money almost three times to 3.8 million US dollars for the top four test Cricket teams during 2013 till 2015. Earlier the top team received 175,000 US dollars. Now it will get 4.5 lakh to 5 lakh US dollars in 2015. The term of ICC President will be for one year on a rotation basis and Chairman of the ICC will head the board.
