ICC raises prize money in test cricket by almost three fold

The International Cricket Council, ICC Executive Board has raised the prize money in test cricket by almost three fold. The term of ICC President will be for one year on a rotation basis and Chairman of the ICC will head the board. The top brass of ICC led by its President Sharad Pawar met in Dubai over the last two days and announced a series of measures to promote cricket. Addressing a Press Conference after the meeting, the ICC Chief Executive Haroon Logart said, the increase in prize money for the top four teams in the test cricket will go a long way in promoting the interest and quality of the longer version of the game
