For Kenya, Collins Obuya 47 runs was top-scorer. Skipper Shahid Afridi was the chief-wrecker of the Kenyan innings with Five wickets for 16 runs in 8 overs. It was his maiden five wicket haul in World Cup. Umar Akmal with 71 runs in the Pakistan innings was declared the Man of the Match.
