International Cricket Council, ICC has given clearance for holding 3 matches of the World Cup Cricket at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Quoting ICC sources, Joint Secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal Biswarup Dey said on Tuesday that the three matches will be held at the Eden Gardens next month as per schedule. The ICC team visited the Eden Gardens on Monday to review the renovation works of the stadium. The ICC has already shifted India Vs. England match slated to be held at Eden Gardens on 27th of this month due to non-completion of renovation work.
