In Cricket, New Zealand will take on Bangladesh in their final Group-A match of ICC Champions Trophy at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff today. The match will begin at 3 PM Indian Time. Both teams are in the bottom of the 4-team Pool.The losing team will bow out of the tournament, while the winning side will progress to the semi-finals if hosts England, who have already made it to the last-4, beat Australia tomorrow. If Australia win, they will join England in the semis. If its a tie today, the net run-rate will determine which will be the second team.Yesterday, defending champions India lost to Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in their second Group-B game. All the four teams in the Pool – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and South Africa – now have 2 points each.This means, the final two games of the Group, India versus South Africa on Sunday, and Pakistan versus Sri Lanka on Monday, will be knock out fixtures and the winners will advance to the semis. The semi-final stage will begin on Wednesday.
