The ICC has announced the appointment of Marais Erasmus of South Africa and Ian Gould of England as on-field umpires for the March 24 India-Australia World Cup Quarterfinal Match to be held at Ahmedabad. An ICC release in Chennai on Monday said Richard Kettleborough would be Third Umpire and Asad Rauf of Pakistan, the Fourth Umpire. Sri Lankan Ranjan Madugalle would be the Match Referee for the contest. Following is the list of match officials for other Quarterfinals: March 23 – Pakistan vs West Indies at Mirpur Chris Broad (match referee), Billy Bowden and Steve Davis (both on-field), Daryl Harper (third umpire), Bruce Oxenford (fourth umpire). March 25 – South Africa v New Zealand at Mirpur Roshan Mahanama (match referee), Aleem Dar and Rod Tucker (both on-field), Kumar Dharmasena (third umpire), Nigel Llong (fourth umpire). March 26 – Sri Lanka v England at Colombo Jeff Crowe (match referee), Billy Doctrove and Simon Taufel (both on-field), Tony Hill (third umpire), Shavir Tarapore (fourth umpire).
