Indian Council of Agricultural Research Director General Trilochan Mohapatra has said, adequate recharging of ground water and responsible use of it are the keys to achieve sustainability in water conservation. Mr. Mohapatra was delivering the inaugural address at the International conference on Soil and Water Resources Management for Climate Smart Agriculture and Global Food and Livelihood Security in New Delhi today.<br />''<br />''Expressing grave concern on the over exploitation of ground water in rice cultivation in states of Haryana and Punjab, Mr Mohapatra said, unless the strategies and policies for the conservation of water are implemented strictly, sustainability of it cannot be ensured.
