Present Manipur Chief Minister, Okram Ibobi Singh has been re-elected as the leader of the Congress Legislature party of Manipur. In a media briefing in Imphal AICC General Secretary luizinho Faleiro said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi has appointed Mr. Ibobi Singh as the new CLP leader . The meeting of the Congress Legislature party was held on March 7. The newly elected legislature of the state had unanimously decided to authorise Congress High Command to appoint the new CLP leader to lead the next government in the state.
