Information and Broadcasting Secretary Bimal Julka today inaugurated the 1st All India Inter-Media Badminton tournament in New Delhi. Nearly 150 officials of various media units of the Ministry are participating in the tournament. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Julka said, sports is an important component in the development of individual personalities. He further mentioned that the pooling of talent and resources in the Media Units, could promote the culture of good sports in the organization. As a consequence, this would act as a value addition to the profile of Media Units. The tournament is being organized at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the city and will come to end on the 14th of this month.
