To contain the spread of the Corona virus by increasing the Public awareness, Information and Broadcast Ministry's Regional Outreach Bureau has started the awareness campaign with the help of its artistes in Maharashtra. <br />''<br />''The campaign has identified seven districts as focused areas. The campaign was inaugurated in Pune in presence of Director of National Film Archives, Prakash Magdum, Director of National Film institute Bhupendra Canthola and Santosh Ajmera. District collector Suraj Mandhare inaugurated the campaign in Nashik. The campaign was also launched in other districts including Nagpur.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Folk songs and music have always proved effective in awareness of Government schemes and health campaigns in the past and Information and Broadcast Ministry's Regional outreach bureau has played crucial role in it. This time the bureau is creating awareness to contain the spread of Corona Virus. With the help of two special vans the awareness messages are being announced in the streets and posters are displayed at prominent places. <br />''<br />''At the same time the folk artistes are spreading the awareness messages about the safety norms, testing and timely treatment for Covid prevention, through their songs and street shows. The officials of the Bureau has appealed the people to co-operate the administration in the spread of the pandemic.</span><br />
