Information and Broadcasting Ministry will organize the first International workshop on film preservation and restoration at National Film Archives of India (NFAI) Pune from friday. <br/><br/>The ten day workshop is being organised in association with International Federation of Film Archives and Film Heritage Foundation. <br/><br/>An official release said, the goal of the programme is to build an indigenous resource of film archivists and restorers who can work towards saving India's cinematic heritage in the future. <br/><br/>It said, the workshop is a unique and first of its kind initiative of the Ministry where various aspects and techniques of film archiving would be dealt comprehensively.
