Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has informed that his Ministry will soon make available valuable old recordings, many of which rare ones, with Doordarshan and All India Radio, on mobile handsets through a special application.

Speaking at a book launch in Mumbai, Mr Javadekar said that All India Radio and Dordarshan have around four lakh hours and three lakh hours of old recordings respectively in their archives and soon everyone will be able to listen and enjoy them.
