Information and Broadcasting Ministry is stressing on producing local programmes in the North East. Talking to Prasar Bharati at Borjhar airport in Guwahati today, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Col.Rajyavardhan Rathore said, the Arun Prabha channel will start soon in the North East. He said, Doordarshan has started to work in this direction.<br/><br/>The Minister also said, a 100 watt FM station is also coming up at Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh where people can listen to local programmes.The Minister will attend the concluding ceremony of Buddha Mahotsavha at Bomdila.
