Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today launched the new website of Doordarshan News, www.ddnews.gov.in. The new website gives the insight of news and features across the world. <br/><br/>Addressing the Conference of Heads of Regional News Units (RNU), in New Delhi, Mr Naidu stressed upon improving the efficiency of news. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu said, RNUs are the regional voice of the nation catering to local information needs. He said, the core competencies of DDNewsLive are authenticity, objectivity and timely dissemination of information.<br/><br/>Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, Information and Broadcasting Secretary NK Sinha, Prasar Bharati Chairman Dr A Surya Prakash and Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekar Vempati were also present.
