I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar says, this year's Budget is a systematic document of global vision of self-reliant India

<span style="color: #222222;">Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that this year's Union Budget is a systematic document of the global vision of a 'self-reliant India. Speaking at a press conference in Pune today, Mr. Javadekar said, this budget has taken care of the needs of people from all sectors especially poor people, farmers, women, youth and senior citizens. He said, this is everyone's budget.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Javadekar further said that budget provisions for infrastructure development will provide a solid foundation for making India an economic power. He said that 7 lakh 54 thousand crore rupees have been allocated for the construction of infrastructure such as roads, electricity, water, railways, metro, freight lines, ports and airports.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Responding to the questions of reporters, Mr. Javadekar asserted that the Modi government is dedicated to the welfare of the poor and gave details of various welfare schemes and provisions made for them.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister assured that the government is committed for the betterment of farmers. He said, moving towards the goal of doubling the income of farmers, the government has maintained the provision of giving farmers a guaranteed minimum price of one and a half times their production cost.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">To facilitate the availability of agricultural credit, credit has been increased by 10 per cent over last year to 16.5 lakh crore rupees. Mr. Javadekar said, doubling the provision for micro-irrigation, the provision has now been increased to 10,000 crore rupees. He also informed that provision has been made to connect 1000 market committees to the national e-market and the rural development fund has been increased from 30,000 crore rupees to 40,000 crore rupees.</span><br />
