<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur held a review meeting regarding the civic amenities in Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation on Tuesday. The minister was informed about the status of the implementation of various central government schemes and the beautification projects currently in progress.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a meeting with VVMC Commissioner Anil Pawar, the minister also discussed the progress made under Jal Jeevan Mission, SwaNidhi Scheme, funds received and utilized under the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions besides the need for improvement in road infrastructure. Mr. Thakur also enquired about the status of the 24 kilometers of land that will be required for the proposed Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Thakur is currently on a tour to Maharashtra's Palghar district, wherein he is meeting people from all strata of society to understand the people's pulse ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.</span><br />
