In a message, Mr. Thakur said, since 1952, IFFI has provided Indian film industry with significant multifarious platform to showcase their diverse film languages on a global front.<br />'' <br />''He said, as one of the world's leading producers of films, India has positioned itself as a creative industrial power house. The Minister said, over the years, IFFI has captured the emerging contemporary trends of cinema from an international perspective and encourages the participation of young filmmakers and creative geniuses alike. Mr. Thakur said, at this edition, audience and filmmakers will be able to experience an intricate tapestry of culture language and the heritage of different nation woven by the prism of cinema. He also expressed confidence that this edition of film festival will be an exhilarating experience for all.
