Union Minister for Information Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur visited the residence of former Chief Minister of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal at Badal village in Bathinda and paid tributes to the departed leader and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. Alongwith Mr Thakur, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Prem Kumar Dhumal and IPL Chairman  Arun Singh Dhumal also paid tributes to him.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr Thakur termed the death of Badal as an end of an era. He said, Mr Badal remained steadfast for Punjab and Punjabiyat throughout his life and never compromised with principles. The Minister said, even though Mr Prakash Singh Badal Saheb is not among us today, his ideals and principles will always guide us all.</span><br />
