<span style="color: #222222;">Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has stressed the need for meaningful discussions in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies. He was addressing the concluding session of the convention organized under the Centenary Year Celebrations of All India Presiding Officers in the Vidhan Sabha Complex in Shimla today.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Thakur said that there is a need to observe Legislative Week in every state in which participation of school children should also be ensured. He said that the laws which are made in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies bring a big change in the life of common man. The Minister stressed on making video documentaries on the decisions taken during 75 years of independence and achievements of Vikas Yatra so that the coming generation can get important information.<br />''<br />''On the second and concluding day of the cnference, 11 resolutions were passed by voice vote. It was decided that two conferences will be organized in a year. One conference is proposed in Delhi and the other in other State Assembly of the country. Other resolutions included those relating to training programme of newly elected MLAs, Formation of Committee to set standards for Best Assembly Award, to review proceedings of various Legislative &nbsp;between 2019 to 2021 and making the proceedings of the house available to all by bringing them on one platform as well as development of Model Manual and Financial Support.</span>
