Mihir Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has asked the Directorate of Publications Division, DPD to explore innovative ways for bringing its publications closer to public in large number. <br/><br/>Inaugurating a national conference of Business Managers and Editors of DPD in Hyderabad today, the Joint Secretary said the DPD has been playing a key role in dissemination of knowledge of literature to the people through its publications in all Indian languages. <br/> <br/>He asked DPD to work with service motive and enhance its presence everywhere through digitisation and e-marketing. <br/><br/>The Joint Secretary had also asked the organisation to participate in book fairs across the country in a big way. Dr.Sadhana Rout, Additional Director General, DPD said the publications of the organisations will be made available through Flipkart and Amazon network soon. She said the two-day conference is being organised to deliberate on improving the marketing of DPD publications.
