The Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Rajiv Takru will also function as the Chief Executive Officer of the Prasar Bharti with immediate effect. A decision to this effect was taken at the Prasar Bharti Board meeting held in New Delhi today.The Board also decided that the three member committee that had been running the day-to day work of Prasar Bharti is dissolved. The Board also resolved to create five committees to deal with finance, personnel, production and content, project monitoring and implementation of strategy and vision for streamlining of functioning of the Broadcasting Corporation.
