In Uttar Pradesh, a senior Indian Administrative officer Mr. Harmindarraj Singh allegedly shot himself dead using his own revolver. He was a 1978 batch IAS officer and was serving as principle Secretary Housing in the state government. The reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained as yet and police was looking into all possible angles. Mr. Singh was from Punjab and his dead body is being flown to Chandigarh for last rituals.
