In Guajrat, a senior IAS officer and Principle Commissioner of Bhavnagar city, Pradeep Sharma has been arrested by the CID Crime Branch of Police for his alleged involvement in the allotment of land in earthquake hit Bhuj city early this morning.<br/><br/>Quoting the police sources, our Bhuj correspondent reports that Mr Sharma has been brought to Bhuj and will be produced before court for remand. The President and office bearers of wholesale market of Bhuj have also been arrested in this connection. AIR correspondent adds that this is first time in the history of Guajrat an IAS officer has been arrested.
