The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik has said that Indian Air Force is taking strong measures to reduce accidents of aircraft. Addressing a press conference in Jodhpur on Tuesday, he said that IAF is concentrating on reducing human error during flights and started audit of safety problems due to turbine. <br/> <br/>Mr. Naik said that there is no plan to phase out MiG 27 planes. He informed that light combat aircraft will be inducted in the fleet by the end of the year and process of procuring of advance light helicopter is progressing well. <br/> <br/>Besides this, trial of medium-multi-role aircraft is in the last phase and there is a proposal of inducting 126 such aircrafts in the IAF fleet soon.<br/>
