The International Atomic Energy Agency says, Iran has hindered an investigation of its nuclear programme. The Agency also said, it cannot confirm Iran's nuclear programme was purely peaceful. Iran has denied the accusations that it is trying to develop nuclear weapons. The IAEA said in a report in Vienna, that Iran is not providing the Agency with the information it needs and is objecting to some of its inspectors. The report said, Iran is continuing to produce low-enriched uranium despite the tougher sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council. Since November last, it says, Iran has increased its stockpile of low-enriched uranium by almost a thousand kilos. That could be enough to make a bomb if it is further enriched to 90 per cent.
