International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors will visit Iran on 25th of this month to examine country’s recently revealed nuclear facility. This was disclosed by the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog Mohamed ElBaradei in Tehran today. Following talks with Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi, Mohamed ElBaradei said that it is important for IAEA to send inspectors to have a comprehensive verification of the facility and to make sure that it is for peaceful purposes. Mr. ElBaradei said talks were successful and there is a possibility of defusing the international crisis over Iran's nuclear programme. He said that transparency is needed on the part of Iran and cooperation on the part of the international community. He also announced that US, French, Russian and Iranian officials will meet in Vienna on 19th of this month for talks. Meanwhile, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has defended Tehran's nuclear programme, including the building of the new plant near Qom. The Fordu site near Qom is the country's second nuclear plant, after the Natanz facility in central Iran
