Iran says, it has the right to change the IAEA inspectors as per their record. This was told to reporters by Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast in Tehran today.According to reports, the UN atomic watchdog, in a new report released on Monday said Iran was complicating a long-running investigation into its controversial nuclear drive by vetoing the nomination of some inspectors. Iran had banned two inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) earlier this year from entering the country, accusing them of filing a false report.Meanwhile Iran's Ambassador to the IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltanieh has claimed that latest International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report on Iran's nuclear activities reaffirms Tehran's commitment to the agency's rules.AIR correspondent Dhirendra Ojha reports that International Atomic Energy Agency report says that it can not confirm the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear programme as IAEA staff is facing restrictions. Earlier this year, Iran had banned two inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from entering the country, accusing them of filing a false report. Iran says, it has the right to change the IAEA inspectors.Iran is under four rounds of sanctions over its nuclear programme. After fourth round of sanctions in June this year, European Union and US have imposed additional sanctions which include a ban on the sale of equipment, technology and services to Iran's energy sector.Iran argues that its nuclear programme is aimed at peaceful purposes but West has been concerned about Iran's decision to enrich uranium as highly enriched uranium refined to a level above 90 percent can be used for making atomic weapons.
