RJD president Lalu Prasad has vowed to stop Narendra Modi from becoming Prime Minister, the same way as he had stopped veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani during his rath yatra in 1990. Addressing an election rally at East Champaran in Bihar, he said Narendra Modi is a chela, a disciple of Advani.

He said Modi has learnt everything from his guru, but he has not learnt that he would stop him just like he had stopped his guru in Bihar. He said there is a 1977 type movement against Modi to stop him alleging that people know that he and his party work to divide the country, create dissensions between brothers and fan communalism.
