The Income tax officials seemed to have winded up their income tax raids on Sasikala's kith and kin after a five day operation clean money exercise. Tax officials today begun quizzing the young CEO of Jaya TV, Vivek Jayaraman, Dr.Sivakumar and Poongundran who was the backbone of Namadhu MGR on the basis of the documents that were seized during the raids. <br/><br/>The trio were taken to the Income tax office at Nungambakkam for questioning. Earlier in the day, Pugazhendi, who was in-charge of the Party in Karnataka, was also questioned at Income Tax office. TTV Dinakaran's astrologer Chandrasekar was also questioned at Puducherry.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Peter Craig Jones, the previous owner of the 900 acre Kodanad estate in Nilgiris District has appreciated the Centre's initiative in taking strict and severe action on ill gotten wealth of political big wigs. <br/><br/>Operation Clean Money which began five days ago is all set to expose a major haul after the examination and thorough investigation. At a time when the Centre is looking into transforming the Country and cleansing it of black money, the first move has begun from the State of Tamilnadu. Huge benami assets,off shore investments and a sizeable amount of gold and cash is said to be under the tax lens. <br/><br/>Friends,business associates, servants,kith and kin of the powerful family of Sasikala have all been searched after days of monitoring. Soon notices and summons are to be issued as the list seems to develop after scrutiny.
