The Income Tax Department has issued notices to Kolkata Knight Riders Sports Private Limited and Game-plan sports to appear before it in connection with the recent search operations at the offices of the two organizations in Kolkata on IPL controversy.<br/><br/>Giving this information, the Director General of I.T. investigation (East), Mr. Vinod Khurana told in Kolkata today that both the organizations have asked for time till Monday for appearing before the I.T. Department. Mr. Khurana said that the I.T. Department is examining papers seized from the custody of the two entities during their recent raids.<br/><br/>According to official sources, the Income Tax Department of Mumbai will also look into the funding and shareholding pattern of Knight Riders as the organization based in Mumbai.<br/><br/>I.T. officials conducted raids in the city offices of these two organizations in Kolkata on last Wednesday on IPL controversy.
