Income Tax department has issued refunds of over 1 lakh 18 thousand 324 crore rupees to more than 33 lakh 54 thousand taxpayers in a span of six months starting from 1st April this year.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Finance Ministry  informed that out of the total refunds, 86 thousand 94 crore rupees have been refunded in nearly 1 lakh 78 thousand corporate tax cases while the remaining 32 thousand 230 crore rupees have been issued in over 31 lakh 75 thousand other cases. </span><br />
