Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister , Bharat Mohan Adhikari, claims that he was not responsible for the leak of the budget before he had presented it in the Parliament-Legislature on Friday. Speaking at a programme in Kathmandu today , Mr. Adhikari said he had prepared to present the budget for the fiscal year 2011-12 on Thursday but had to defer it on the last moment due to the demands of the political parties .He said he will not resign and things went wrong due to incorrect political decisions.The Opposition has been demanding his resignation as the said the budget had already been published and was available on the internet even before the Finance Minister had finished presenting the budget on Friday. A Parliamentary Probe committee has also been set up to probe into the leakage and is to submit it’s report by the 23rd of this month.
