Hyderabad University revokes suspension of 4-students

The Hyderabad Central University today revoked the suspension of four students four days after research scholar Rohit Vemula committed suicide. These four students along with Rohit Vemulawere suspended earlier from accessing hostel library and cafe in the University campus. The Executive Committee has held an emergency meeting this morning and took the decision to revoke the suspension on the four students who are on hunger strike.<br/><br/>The Dean of the University later in a release said the decision was taken keeping in view the extraordinary situation prevailed on the campus. The decision incidentally come after a dozen faculty and officers belonging to SC and ST Community put in their resignation from the administrative posts they are holding. University Vice-Chancellor Appa Rao appealed to students and faculty to maintain harmony on the campus and repose confidence in the internal mechanism and get back to their normal work.
