<span style="color: #222222;">Condemning the Hyderabad rape incident, members from different political parties in the Rajya Sabha demanded stringent punishment and change in the legal and police system to check the crime against women.<br />''<br />'' In a brief discussion during Zero Hour in the Upper House, Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad said, the country and society must stood against such heinous crime and one party or regime cannot be blamed for such incident. He said, there is need to sensitize people.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Santanu Sen of TMC also demanded strict action against culprits. Echoing same view, Mr Sanjay Singh of Aam Adami Party said, merely framing laws is not enough to curb crime against women. He said, justice should be delivered in time bound manner in such crime.  Mr Manoj Jha of RJD stressed on the need to change the mindset of the people in the society. Ms Vijila Sathyanathan of AIADMK demanded to increase the number of fast track courts dealing with such incidents and immediate capital punishment for rape accused. Mr Amar Patnaik of BJD also highlighted the need to change the mindset of society. Ms Jaya Bachchan of Samajwadi Party demanded action against the security officer posted in the area where the Hyderabad rape incident happened. Mr Naresh Gujral of Akali Dal drew the attention of the House towards the pendency of the cases in courts and delay in justice in such matters. Mr Bhupendra Yadav of BJP said, collective efforts should be taken to ensure women's security and their rights. Mr T.K. Rangarajan of CPI (M) urged the media to create awareness on crime against women.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu also expressed serious concern over such incidents saying merely making laws is not enough and the country should think about change in judicial system. He said, such incidents are societal weakness adding that Hyderabad incident is a disgrace.</span><br />''  <br />
