In Telangana, social activist Trupti Desai of Bhoomata Brigade has been taken into custody while she was trying to lodge protest near the Chief Minister's camp office in Hyderabad seeking justice for  the rape convict Disha. The police also have taken few more activists accompanying her into custody.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Meanwhile, the State Government has held a high level meeting on Women and Children's safety in the state. The meeting is reportedly reviewing various measures that the state government is implementing for women safety in the state. Chaired by Home Minister Mahamood Ali, the meeting has been attended by State Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, Women Development Minister Satyavati Rathode and Panchayat Raj Minister Dayakar Rao besides Director General of Police Mahender Reddy, Secretaries from Education and Women Development Departments and other senior officials.</span><br />
