In Andhra Pradesh, the situation remained peaceful in trouble-torn areas of Hyderabad today even as the curfew was relaxed for 9-hours. The normalcy has been restored in the old city areas, where curfew clamped for the past one week. Amidst tight security arrangements curfew has been relaxed from 8AM to 5 PM in the 25 police station areas. Commissioner of police, A K Khan told reporters that the situation continues to be peaceful and under control. Curfew will be relaxed for 10 hours tomorrow from 7 am. Besides enforcing section 144 through out the city, pillion riding on two wheelers has also been banned during night time.
