In Andhra Pradesh, curfew has been relaxed for four hours today in Madannapet and Saidabad areas of the old city of Hyderabad. This is the first time that the curfew relaxed for some time since its imposition on last Sunday following clashes between two groups. The curfew relaxation will continue till 3 pm to enable people to purchase essential commodities. In-charge Commissioner of Police Anurag Sharma said that all precautionary measures have been taken to prevent any untoward incident during the curfew relaxation. Meanwhile, people thronged local markets and shops to purchase essential commodities like milk and vegetables immediately after the curfew relaxation came into force at 11 am. Meanwhile, police said barring some minor incidents, the situation is under control and remained peaceful in the walled city of Hyderabad.
