A CBI special Court in Hyderabad today granted conditional bail to the IAS officer, Srilakshmi, who has been arrested in the illegal mining case relating to Obulapuram Mining Company. The Special court today granted her bail after completing hearing on her bail petition. Accordingly, she should be available for CBI for further enquiry and surrender her passport besides surety from two persons. The IAS officer has been accused for misusing her powers and favouring the OMC in granting licences. The Court yesterday remanded the IAS officer to Judicial Custody till 12th of this month. She has been lodged at the women’s wing of the Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad since yesterday. CBI has so far arrested Karnataka former Minister Janarthana Redddy, Obulapuram Mining Company MD Srinivasa Reddy, former Director Mines to Andhra Pradesh Government, Rajagopal in this case. The central Agency has alos arrested OMC director Rajasekhar this morning in Bhallari.
