Hyderabad CBI court extends judicial custody of Janardhana Reddy

A special CBI court in Hyderabad has extended the judicial remand for Karnataka former Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy and another accused Srinivasa Reddy till the 17th of this month in the mines irregularities case. The court has extended the remand for another 14 days on the plea made by the CBI. Both the accused were arrested by CBI on the 5th of last month in mining irregularities case and on judicial remand in ChanchalGuda Central Jail in Hyderabad. Following the petition by the Jail Authorities, the court also decided to hold further hearing through Video conferencing for security reasons.
