2,500 Acres of the Hurulu Forest Reserve in Habarana which was affected by the bush fire was brought under control this morning. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, officials of the Department of Forest Conservation said. It is suspected that illegal hunters may have been involved in igniting the fire which raged from yesterday afternoon and spread rapidly. The fire was finally brought under control with the assistance of Sri Lankan Air Force helicopters, Army personnel and the Civil Defence personnel.
