In shooting, Hungary's Veronika Major on Tuesday won a gold medal at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in New Delhi.
She bagged the medal in 10-metre air pistol event, with 245.1 points in the tournament at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.
Taipei's Chia Ying Wu won a silver medal, with 238.4 points Korean Bomi Kim came third, with 218.3 points.
For India, it was, however, a lacklustre day once again in the tournament. Big guns Manu Bhaker and Heena Sidhu failed to qualify for the final of women's 10-metre air pistol.
Gaayathri Nityanadam and Sunidhi Chauhan also failed to qualify for the final in the 50-metre rifle events. The tournament concludes tomorrow.
