The Prime Minister of Hungary Mr. Viktor Obran has invited investments in the fields of IT, Biotechnology, Automobiles, Construction, Energy, Water and Waste Management in that country. He was speaking at a function organised to open the country's consulate in Mumbai today. Mr. Obran said that opening of the Hungarian consulate will help in increasing the bilateral trade with India. He said that nearly 9,000 Indians are presently working in Hungary and companies like Tata Consultancy and CG Electric have major presence in the country. Expressing keenness to establish direct air connectivity with India, the Hungarian Prime Minister said it is important to have the direct connectivity between Budapest and Mumbai and expressed hope to further boost bilateral relationship. particularly tourism and ecnomic spheres. The Hungarian Prime Minister arrived in New Delhi on 16th of this month on a four day visit left back home this afternoon.
